This SOP outlines the steps required to access individual Mailscale email inboxes for the purpose of validating replies, conducting tests, or managing email responses using various email clients.

- Email Client (e.g., Apple Mail, Edison Email, Mailspring, Thunderbird, Clean Email)
- CSV file with email account details
Procedure:
1. Choosing an Email Client
- Description: Select an appropriate email client for accessing your mail scale email inboxes.
- Steps:
- Consider using Edison Email, Mailspring, Thunderbird, Clean Email, or the Apple Mail client.
- For Windows users, find a suitable alternative or browse for the best options.

2. Adding Email Accounts to Your Chosen Client
- Description: Add your mail scale email accounts to the chosen email client.
- Steps:
- Open the email client and navigate to the settings or account settings section.
- For Apple Mail, click on "Accounts" then "Add Account".
- Choose to add another account (not a Google account) and select "Mail Account" or similar option.
- Refer to your CSV file for the email address and IMAP password details.
- Enter the email address and IMAP password when prompted.
- Input the incoming (IMAP host) and outgoing (SMTP host) mail server details. Note: These are often the same.
- Ensure the account type is set to IMAP and leave other settings as automatic or default.
